Didn’t know what to expect

I didn’t really know what to expect when I bought this book. I truly love Rick Springfield’s music and it has been very healing for me over the years. Having met him through the late ‘90’s through the fan club and then going to concerts, it definitely can be said the man and his band has the Human Touch. So Michele Matthew’s wrote from her heart and wrote about her life and how Rick Springfield played a part in helping her through her life through his music very publicly. It saddens me to have known her hardships and her estrangement from her daughter. And I found it weird I never heard of her or saw her online with the club but there were so many fans. I also kind of stayed to myself. She only went to one concert by herself. I went to almost every Rick concert in the beginning by myself. I met people there and met some wonderful people in my lifetime because of Rick! Some has passed on now, others have stayed and we touch base on occasion. I loved meeting his wife and talking with her. I joke I like her better than Rick! I loved meeting his mum, and Barbara introduced me to Liam at one event. They are wonderful down to earth people. As was Rick’s band and Ronnie and Matty.
