Confessions of a Divorced Kid by Steve Sullivan

This child friendly book belongs in every elementary school counselor's office, not to mention in the library of parents going through a divorce. It shows what could, and more importantly, should be the result of parents no longer able to live together. With colorful and fun illustrations, it is the straightforward telling of divorce from the children's viewpoint. Not since Helping Your Kids Cope with Divorce the Sandcastle Way have I seen a book on divorce put such a positive spin on all of the possibilities of life going on in what must be a very difficult situation for children. These two titles would make wonderful companion books for anyone wishing to help.
