A rather nice set of photos of one surviving warbird "collection"
Published by Thriftbooks.com User , 15 years ago
By NO means a definitive photo collection of the planes of the Confederate Air Force (since renamed in the name of being "politically correct". I forget the new name, but the name is of no real significance; the subject is the collection of aircraft and nothing more.), it is never-the-less a nice collection of photographs. Most of these warbirds survive today, and it is nice to see what this group has restored. Perhaps someday someone will offer some sort of "super" collection showing what is still out there everywhere. Until then this kind of photo set of one group is appreciated. I am rather surprised given Osprey's tendency to over cover every subject that there is NOT a whole series on the various collections across the globe (adding to Osprey's catalog and, of course, their bank account!). All jesting aside, it is appreciated.
