Great book for the beginner

An excellent book for anyone interested in doing their own home wiring projects. Covers everything from the basics of electricity, neccessary tools and materials, techniques and wiring procedures, all with good detailed instructions and illustrations, as well as tons of tips and tricks. I started totally from scratch, with no prior wiring knowledge, and have extended as well as troubleshot my service only a few months later. A few of the tips and tricks I've shared with an electrician friend of mine that I got from this book were things that he thought a person would only ever learn on the job. My only complaint is that the book could have been taken in a bit more depth at some points, as other books do. All in all, an excellent book for anyone interested in getting started as a Saturday electrician.
