Common Sense is one of the very first books to address family finances and how to save, invest and get ahead and achieve financial independence. Art did it and so did many of the members of his start up company that revolutionized the insurance industry for the better. Over 16 million copies sold!
Excellent helpful financial information but an outragious price.

I started with this book's predecessor back in 1985 at $1.00 (no joke, only one dollar per book) and $2000 to put into an IRA. I am now managing over $1.4 M portfolio drawing in over $200K/yr income mostly legally tax exempt with some minor tax base income. I earned a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree without any debt upon graduation, own my home, car and am totally debt free even after medical bills. By following the advise in this book anyone can achieve financial independence. Do yourself a favor and find yourself a copy and Read it, Study it and Just Do It.
