Excellent reference for Combat Search & Rescue

Darrel Whitcomb is an excellent, well-researched, thorough author, who has extensive experience and knowledge of combat search & rescue. I really enjoyed this book, and use it as a reference for my own course materials. If you want to know the full, unbiased stories behind fellow Americans who were isolated or lost during Desert Storm, and what goes on behind the scenes in the frantic attempts to recover them, read this book! Also, I would highly recommend it for any military personnel, to develop a better understanding of how to plan for and carry out a recovery mission... there are many lessons learned to be found in Mr. Whitcomb's accounts.
