Really good!

This book contains detailed information about what to look for in a quality garment, the attributes of different materials, how to properly clean garments, and how to repair that which has gone wrong. It provides information about how to alter a garment... what to the considerations are, or should be, so that the end result is what you want, not what you get. It's full of handy advice, with lots of pictures. It's old (1985), but the information is great. I can't figure out why this series is out of print.
