Disappointing

I have most of the Carter Ross novels for which I give an average of 3.5 stars. This stand alone novel, however, did not reach the same standard. I guess it was supposed to be a detailed search of emotional and psychological angst. It read much more like a soap opera script. The twist in the ending was anticlimactic. It read too much like a male trying to think and write like a female. Overall thumbs down.
