Ordered this particular book to accompany a distance education course by the most excellent Dr. John Riddle of North Carolina State University. This book of original works was the basis for great literature discussions during this course.

A Great Anthology of Classical Thought

Got this for a college course I took on the Classical World. I actually own Vol. I, II, and III. The book gives you snipets of great classical works, which has nevertheless led me to purchasing the actual books in many instances.
