The angel Dardanelle loves having a human charge. Until the day he is tempted by a demon to shoot his girlfriend after a misunderstanding with her ex-boyfriend. Defying Hell, the fallen angel Arakiel steps forward and peacefully ends the standoff. Grateful for Arakiel's help, Dardanelle offers to assist Arakiel by offering him a temporary safe haven in the lower level of Heaven.

Lucifer is livid after receiving the news that one of his demons has betrayed him. He then orders his minions to find Arakiel, his accomplice Dardanelle, and destroy them no matter what it takes.

The archangel Michael realizes what Dardanelle is up to and intercepts her and Arakiel at the Heavenly gates. For their actions, both will stand trial in the Cherubim Assembly. As their divine judgment looms, their fates will be decided in Heaven, in Hell, and on Earth...
