The Empress of Ice has plagued the Illyander Kingdom for generations. After strange events touch all their lives, the three find themselves drawn together and embroiled in the Ice Queen's plot to claim the world as her own empire that would mirror the horrors festering in the dark caves below her glacial fortress. As the three youths journey throughout the world of Aronshae on their quest for answers, even more questions are raised as they find out more about each other, themselves and their strange emerging powers.
