Inspiration for catechists and all teachers

As someone who has catechized catechists, I highly recommend this little book. Its subtitle is: The Spiritual Life of the Christian Teacher. So this book is a wonderful supplement to other catechetical texts to which the catechist might refer. Here there are inspirational words of wisdom on discipline and discipleship, teaching with authority, catechists relation with the Word of God, the Church, Christ, and much more -- all in bite size chunks. Especially fruitful after a frustrating day. Directors of Religious Education would do well to get this book in all of their catechists hands. Unfortunately it is out of print but you may want to contact the publisher (Ignatius Press). With enough demand it might be republished.
