good intro

I don't speak Chinese, so it's hard for me to say how the pronunciation rates, but I'm assuming they are native Chinese speakers based on the way the lessons are introduced. It is great for riding in the car -- my son can easily follow CD by turning the pages in the book and repeating the words. He is learning different vocabulary and a symbolic pronunciation system at Chinese school, so we can compare the pinyin system to the sounds we hear and what he has learned at school. I just wish maybe the vocabulary were a little more every-day, like maybe clothes or different kinds of common foods, instead of words like "factory" and "worker," but I guess it's just a cultural difference... Also, it's great for kids who like to color, but my son doesn't, so having the pictures in color already would've been nice.
