Highly recommended

I read The Children of the Gods out loud to my 22-yr-old daughter as we snuggled on the couch, and together we gasped with joy, laughed hilariously, exclaimed Yes, yes! and agreed that we had both needed exactly that particular message at just that time. The poetry of the journal, especially when spoken, has a cadence that is a pleasure to experience, and the prose voices in the middle of the revelations, an enlightening counterpart to the awakening messages, were sometimes so easy (too easy!) to identify with that we had to laugh out loud at ourselves. The overall effect was to lift our spirits into love and playfulness, and the effect lasted for weeks. I thought at first that the book was particularly meaningful to us because it came so close to our own story. My daughter Fawni, who's an intuitive healer, asked me when she was two years old, " 'Member, Ma, when I was up in de sky and I wanted to be a little girl and come in your body?" That was the beginning of countless awakenings for me, which culminated in my being given gifts (of paradox, lucid dreaming, memory of past and future, reflections of the One, etc) in meditations by twelve beings of light (which I recount in my book Somewhere between Kindergarten and God.) Fawni turned out to be a conscious representative of the twelfth being, and she and I both soared at the discovery of someone else having tapped in to such a similar metaphysical "history."But then I read passages of The Children of the Gods to my weekly discussion group, and they nearly gave me a standing ovation and asked for more! Every one of them was triggered into remembrance and wanted to read the entire book. Whether The Children of the Gods is regarded as fiction or fact is irrelevant to its freeing and joyful impact. Highly recommended for all Beings of Light who want to be reminded that you're not alone!Lesta Bertoia

Children of the Gods

This is an extraordinary book. I was given a copy in 1985 by a dear friend, who also happened to be a friend of the author's. I reread it probably five or six times a year, and always gain something new from its pages. At one point I had misplaced it, and placed a panic call to get another copy. I have read this book more times than any other ever!

This book should not be listed under children's literature

Once in a while a book comes along from out of nowhere and becomes your best friend. Anything BUT a child's book! If you are a New Age thinker, you will not only love this book, you will never lend it out for fear of being without it.
