Child Sexual Abuse has been called 'Pedophilia.' 'Philia' is derived from the Greek for 'Brotherly Love.' I make the argument that 'Love," brotherly or otherwise, has nothing to do with the desire to harm children. For a layperson to call these heinous crimes 'Pedophilia' is bad enough, but for an entire profession, supposedly dedicated to the care of mental health, to continue this charade is outrageous.
