Really 4.5 Stars.. Another good read from this author

It's another good story based in South Africa's history. The translation editing could have been even better. It is definitely good enough, but there are plenty of opportunities to bring the author's original subtleties and writing quality to the English version. Perhaps the translator is just not as good at the writing part and wasn't able to bring it through (or perhaps the other way around, but who knows.) It is another very good read and I enjoyed it. I love that this author provides a glossary at the front before you even begin the read. I do wish she would include phonetics for pronunciation so I don't have to go look it all up. That may be just me, however, as I hate reading through a book while mispronouncing all the language-specific words/names. I will be reading Ms. Joubert again.
