Best study ever!

This study shifted my life forever! I saw things about the nature of God through the life of David and his relationship with God that have forever changed me! The writer has a precious heart and a way of helping you delve deep. Whatever you do, don't miss this jewel! ;)

A Woman After God's Own Heart

This book is built on the life of David: pre-king and post-king days. Commonly called "a man after God's own heart," many of David's life choices show how the decision to obey God will lead to greater things. "Chase Study" provides some journal-like questions that provoke thought about one's own heart and life choices. I like the smooth pages and the colours, but the format of the chapters is too messy for my tastes. I continue to use the book, because it was an optional tool for a college Bible study I am in, and it does help for discussion. However, I am a bit more academic in my Bible-studying and find this book to be telling me everything I've already heard since childhood. For a newer believer, it may be a fantastic choice, because it gives good examples of how to live by faith as David did. For the veteran believer, however, it's a rather fluffy book with poor visual organization.
