Characteristics of suicidal individuals and factors in suicidal recidivism

The frequency of suicide attempts (SA) is constantly increasing in Tunisia. The aim of this study was to investigate the sociodemographic and clinical profile of suicidal patients consulting psychiatry at the Gab s regional hospital, and to determine the factors associated with suicidal recidivism. The profile of the suicidal patient was female (76.4%), average age 24 years, single (67.6%), secondary school level (50.7%), average and low socioeconomic level.
