Great snapshots of remarkable people!

My 6 year old son received this book for Christmas. I can't say enough about what a great book it is. There are essays on 10 different athletes (men and women) from sports as typical as basketball to as unusual as dogsledding. His writing is clear and "not dumbed down" at all which I love. My kids get to learn new words while we read! The people he has chosen are not the usual sports heroes that everyone knows about so we're all learning something. My eight year old daughter is enjoying the stories immensely as well. This book is a must buy for anyone interested in sports or in remarkable people that are driven to achieve their best both on and off the "playing fields".
