Feng Li is a National First-Class Playwright and currently serves as the President of the China National Theatre for Children. She is a member of the Chinese Writers Association, the Chinese Dramatists Association, and the China Television Artists Association.
As an independent screenwriter and co-writer, she has contributed to nearly 300 episodes of television dramas, including Beijing Summer, Love Across Time and Space, and I Love My Family. She has twice won the China TV Drama ""Feitian Award,"" twice received the Beijing Television Art ""Chunyan Award,"" and also won the ""China Population and Culture Award."" Her children's play Goats Refuse to Eat Heavenly Grass won the 7th China Drama Award - Cao Yu Script Award. Another work, Mu You Cun, received the ""Contemporary Theatre Script"" Award at the 15th Bucharest International Animation Theatre Festival and was selected as a ""2015 People's Daily Recommended Production.""
She has also published the novels Beijing Summer and The Movie Queen Hu Die, as well as a collection of essays titled Looking Back.
