Cardiac-Specific Markers in Patients with Acute Myocardial Infarction

According to WHO, coronary heart disease ranks 1st not only in terms of the frequency of the disease but also in terms of mortality. Early diagnosis and the possibility of timely effective thrombolytic therapy is the main task of solving this problem. The clinical picture and ECG data may not always help with atypical forms of acute myocardial infarction. An important place is given to biochemical research methods. Since the middle of the last century, so-called cardiac markers have been developed, the first among them were transaminases, which were replaced by creatine phosphate kinase and then troponin. According to the literature, the level of specificity of troponin exceeds 70%, but the disadvantage of troponin is its manifestation only after 8-12 hours. In this regard, there is now an interest in myoglobin, which is highly sensitive in the first hours of acute myocardial infarction. In our study, the comparative sensitivity of troponin and myoglobin transaminases in patients with acute myocardial infarction with and without a Q wave of different localization and complications were studied.
