This is the first book I have read by Teresa Scott and I loved it! The reason behind the kidnapping actually made sense in a weird way and the kidnapping was actually really funny! The characters were very well developed and I love the humor throughout. The climax of the book lasted a bit too long for my taste - you think it's over but it's not and then, oh it's over but no, not quite yet! - and I have to say, I was bugged by there not being ANY contractions in the dialogue! LOL But it was really good and I definitely recommend it!
This book is sizzlin'!

This book is great. Every thing aout it is really good. The characters were well developed and the plot was thought out. I've read lots of books and this one is up there with the best of them. I never really liked books the midwest but this one changed my mind. I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys reading. Even those who think they don't like books about early midwestern days, this is a must read. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
