Campfire Stories is a collection of short stories as told by a group of friends while they sit around a campfire. These friends, The Chosen Family, have turned story time into a game. They must decide if each story is true, fiction, or embellished. This leads to some interesting stories. The stories they tell range from a little sad, heartfelt, scary, funny, and out there. One story has a pair of college girls who discover an old diary in the floor of a closet, the author of said diary let's them know she is still around. Another story is told by one spouse as the couple struggle through Covid-19 shut-downs and lock ins. In one, a woman inherits her grandmother's house only to discover Grandma still lives there too. A murder-for-hire plot goes horribly wrong in another story. A detective investigating a missing family finds their dog sitting in their apple tree. As The Chosen Family take turns telling these tales and many more, including a creature story, an alien story, and two best friends on a whacky road trip, there is something stalking them in the woods just outside of camp. At first the campers brush it off as other campers "fooling around." But one of our them believes it is something far more dangerous and unbelievable. He is called crazy until the evidence of a supernatural creature becomes undeniable.
