I’d never recommend

If you want an inspiring uplifting read then don’t pick this one up. I finished it several days ago and still have a haunting depressed feeling every time I think about it. It was compared to the book To Kill A Mockingbird but there is no comparison. It’s not in the same league.

Never dismiss your heart...

I love a good southern read and Calling Me Home is right up there at the top! Miss Isabelle falls in love with Robert in a time when interracial relationships were taboo. Their love and trials will tug your heartstrings. These characters feel like family all the way through. Thank you, Julie Kibler, for sharing your writing talent with us all. I am glad I found you!
