Bloodhound detective

Mr. Sniff, a bloodhound in the style of Sherlock Holmes, with a passion for jigsaw puzzles, is lured away from his home into a snowy night to solve a mystery, only to find that although he solves the mystery, there is one surprise that he does not predict. This is a charming and sophisticated little book with all the elements of a Conan Doyle story, only in easy-to-read format. The dog characters are wonderfully drawn.
