This is not a love story. It's a cautionary tale, about two sides of the fundamental dispositions and characteristics in human nature. In the story everyone suffers as a result of their obsessions, calling attention to the consequences infatuations can create. Many times throughout the book Echo found herself upset over someone else's self absorption. Taunted by what she made the person up to be in her head. Based on true events, much of the actual story and events remain intact in the script. This book is an insight on how the main character, Echo became to know narcissist's and over came them. The book demonstrates how she struggles with picking up an ego as a self defense mechanism & later experiences an ego-death, caused by a 1 night stand that changes her life forever. The book depicts what she learned along the road to finding herself again. From abusive relationships to people just making her feel small & how she came out on top. Resulting in learning the most about ego's & infatuations. The main character Echo is a women with a never ending curiosity for the human brain & why it tells us to do evil things.
