We can leave it to scientists and theologians to calculate precise methods and points of origins while we get creative and CELEBRATE the glories of God. Glories like you and me, like sloths and shasta daisies, like grizzly bears and butterflies.I know, butterflies are not mentioned by name in the Bible, but still we can be sure that God them enjoys them. Look at all the attention Her gave to the design and details of the Tabernacle. In her poem Trees, Joyce Kilmer wrote, I think that I shall never see / A poem lovely as a tree. We might add, Nor shall a picture soon go by as full of joy as butterfly. Enjoy what God has done. He is your creator and you are his art. Call them flutterbyes. Call them butterflies. Paint them to match the cover. Paint them to please your mind. Show them to your parents or kids. Or both. Show them to your friends and partners. Leave them in the book or cut them out to frame.
