Uplifting and helpful

I would recommend this book for anyone looking to better themselves or who is starting a workout regimen and diet. As I can see from the reviews, others have enjoyed this book as well. Mr. Cocilovo has real desire to help people and it shows in his work. This book clearly comes from the heart and that's a rare thing these days with the "cut and paste" pseudo authors out there who really don't care what the reader's situation is. Mr. Cocilovo cares about his readers and he makes a great attempt to involve the reader on a personal one on one level and not as if he's lecturing a full auditorium. I would like to read any other books Mr. Cocilovo releases in the future.

Mind and Body - Great Book Emphasing Balance

I recently purchased this book because I've struggled with weight issues for the past 15 years and have gone up and down. After reading this book, I realize now the great importance in maintaining an even balance between mind and body. Looking back, the times I was heavier was during periods of stress and poor self-esteem. Those periods led to me not really caring what was going on in my eating and exercise habits. The link between the posture of the mind and the wellness and fitness of the body was explained well in this book and I found it very helpful. Although nothing in life is truly easy, by following the concepts in the book, I know it can work for me. I'm looking forward to the authors next book to increase my insights even further. I would recommend the book highly.

Works from the inside out!

Being a fitness instructor, I've understood the concepts of visualization and mental strength and their roles in fitness training. But, the author challenged me (and continues to challenge me as I re-read his theories)to take my thoughts a step deeper. Cocilovo has taken me just outside my comfort zone to reveal old thought processes that have hindered me from reaching well beyond what I thought my potential was. At the same time, he's given me every reason to accept and love myself more. I never knew growth- personal and physical- could be achieved in this manner. I am proud and confident to use these theories with my clients.

Great Book

This book is an easy read that points out the importance of balance between mind and body.

Thought provoking reading. The author approaches weight loss & work outs in a very sensible way. After reading this book I believe I CAN DO IT! Anyone who has tried dieting and exercising and found it difficult or impossible to reach their goals should read this book & try for the last time because you will succeed!
