Many Hits, Rare Misses

I'm sure there are a few recipes in this book that I wouldn't like (when aren't there, in any cookbook?). However, there are so many that I do like, I have failed to notice. The apple pancakes are fantastic, the donut muffins a real treat, and the bacon and egg pasteries continue to impress our weekend guests (none of them expect the zing of spicy brown mustard, but they are pleasantly surprised by its presence). We spent about $5 on this gem on a Barnes and Noble clearance shelf, and it has been well worth the price. I'm going to pick up an inexpensive copy here for a friend. Try it out; you will not be disappointed!

Best breakfast and brunch recipes in my entire collection of cookbooks! You have to try the apple pancakes and the delicious maple butter sauce which is now our Mother's Day tradition for breakfast...try it with ripe fresh pears and you will melt with joy!
