First things first, I am not a doctor or mental health expert. I am a real person andstrive to give an honest account of my life experiences with a tongue-in-cheekapproach to topics such as: Introversion, Depression, Anxiety, OCD, being aHighly Sensitive Person and having the rarest personality type of Introverted,Intuitive, Feeling, and Judging (INFJ).From early childhood, I was well aware that I was not thinking or behaving likemost other children. Approaching adulthood, I felt the best strategy to make myselfbelong in a superficial world was to pretend to be something I wasn't. I was on amission to prove to myself and doubters that I could be "successful", however, livingan inauthentic life only made things worse. Externally, I appeared to haveeverything in life, despite feeling completely broken on the inside. After several physical and mental collapses (friendly term for "breakdown"), Itransformed from a broken willow to an advocate for those who think they arebroken in some way. My call to action is simple: let's use the truth to discountmental health and personality stigmas.
