Broken Crayons Still Color

By Keith L. Taylor

In Broken Crayons Still Color, Minster Keith Taylor has compiled a book of daily readings of Scripture and inspiration for those with a desire to apply the truths of the Word of God in their everyday lives. Originally written as e-mails to encourage members in the congregation, Taylor's words urge his readers to turn down the noise and reflect for a moment each day. His direction is clear: "Don't let wicked people and unprofitable circumstances color your world. God is good. He woke you today. Be grateful and meditate on the good and beautiful. Color today with grace." As Rev. Dr. Todd C. Davidson describes, Taylor's "language is clear, concise, and consistent with the messages of each Biblical text and he has a unique gift for storytelling that make those texts come alive in the lives of each reader."
