A fantastic novel

I will not hide the fact that i am a Paolo Coehlo fan- indeed i have read the alchemist, elven minutes ,by the river piedra i sat and wept, the pilgrimage but so far it is the first time i have read one of Paolo's books in simply 24 hrs despite its 200 and something pages. You will live in Brida's heart, mind and soul. You will understand that this Gifted woman has conquered her fears, her doubts and pushed herself into the depth of gaining wisdom in a journey that had proven itself not to be the easiest. This story takes place in beautiful Ireland where its patron St. Patrick reigns over its forest, valleys, hills, and seas and its people. It is the discovery of the Tradition of the Sun and the tradition of the moon, it is the search and discovery of your soulmate- of the light in his/her eyes of the white light on his/her left shoulder. It invites you into exploring a new world often times bashed by centuries of ignorance --the world where we all understand and use our gift for not only our passage in the present life but to adhere to a smoother transition in our next life. If you are open-minded and are interested into discovering a new world pick up Brida. It is by far my favorite one by Paolo and soon enough you will discover why. ... Enjoy

El mejor libro, The best book

Este es el mejor libro que he leído, Coelho usa un lenguaje simple, facil de entender.La historia de Brida puede ser la historia de todos nosotros(al menos en ese libro pude leer mi historia),como dice otro lector, es un libro para los que creemos que necesitamos a nuestra otra parte para alcanzar la felicidad total en nuestras vidas.Si todos buscaran sus sueños sin importar lo que diga la sociedad,si todos pudieramos vencer nuestros miedos,nuestra noche obscura, y seguir nuestro corazón,nuestros sentimientos en lugar de encasillarnos en una rutina y dejarnos llevar por la corriente del conformismo, este mundo sería diferente, si pudieramos decir no a la rutina y salirnos de la monotonía de la vida para buscar las respuestas a nuestras preguntas, si supieramos entender la diferencia entre el verdadero amor(nuestra otra parte)y la costumbre de estar con alguien, encontraríamos la felicidad eterna que todos deseamos. Brida is a great story about the search of answers to your questions, about the quest for love and happines, and realizing your dreams by folowing your heart, told in a very clear way and easy to read and understand.I strongly recomend this book to everyone who believes that we need our other half to reach total hapiness. i would have given it 7 stars if i could but 5 was the top.

Magia real .... palpable

Acabo de finalizar Brida, la sensación que me queda es difícil de explicar ..... subjetiva? ..... mágica? ... no lo sé, de lo único que estoy seguro es que me agrada y si me fuese fácil elegir mi camino correcto no lo pensaría dos veces. Sin embargo, aún formo parte del grupo de humanos testarudos y conformistas que sólo pensamos en una transformación..... y no la buscamos.Brida es una joven con ambiciones personales, una vida monótona que seguir, un trabajo, un novio, en fin una joven común y corriente...... pero ella tenía muchas interrogantes y, a diferencia de muchas otras personas de su edad, decide ir en busca de sus respuestas. Es así como se encuentra con El Mago y Wicca, ambos hechiceros que caminan a través de la Tradición del Sol y de la Luna, respectivamente, y ellos se encargan de ayudar a Brida a encontrar su propio camino que no era más que el descubrir el papel que tendría que cumplir en esta reencarnación. Pero antes Brida debe tomar la decisión de continuar con su rutina diaria o aceptar una transformación en su vida a cambio de respuestas que la harían sentir útil, que le darían un sentido, una dirección a su vida ........ Ella aceptó el reto sin saber que se estaba introduciendo a la noche oscura de la cual saldría con un brillo propio, reanimada y con deseos de cambiar al mundo entero. Encontraría, también, a su Otra Parte y este le enseñaría el verdadero amor, ese amor eterno, escaso en estos tiempos ..... pero real y posible. El mensaje de Paulo Coelho, escrito en un lenguaje sencillo para que cualquiera pueda comprenderlo, es que todos podemos encontrar nuestro camino -que no es más que nuestro don, nuestro rol a cumplir en este mundo- sólo prestémosles atención a las cosas que nos rodean. Sin embargo, aún le es difícil a la humanidad aceptar en sus corazones que fuimos creados para ser felices, para convivir en paz unos a otros, que este mundo nos pertenece sólo por un momento; por lo contrario nos matamos mútuamente y tratamos de apoderarnos de la mayor cantidad de cosas materiales que sea posible .... para qué? Si todos podemos disfrutarlas juntos.... no es acaso inmenso el mar y las tierras, porqué entonces muchos de nuestros hermanos mueren de hambre?. Escuchemos el lenguaje de la naturaleza .... ella trata de decirnos algo.Sólo para finalizar y, aunque para muchos de los que lean esto les parecerá "un disparo al aire", por así decirlo, quiero darle las gracias a Paulo Coehlo y decirle que el riesgo que corrió al escribir este libro surtió el efecto adecuado ..... creo que todos tenemos ese "algo" adentro y usted se encargó de despertarlo en mi.

Remarkable

A truly remarkable book,that makes us dream with our meeting with our other half. I truly loved it!I couldn`t just stop reading. I`ve read it twice,but his simplicity,his truth, his feelingns,were the same i felt the first time i read it.I recomend it to every body and i sincerily hope you can read it some day, because it`s something that everybody should read.
