Excellent reading....suspense, statement of the times in 1960, I come from the city he writes about and the flavor of the times was right on...it builds to an ending that will have you surprised. He researched, if not lived, the area, the people, the beliefs, ideas and taboos of the time. A change was brewing in race relations and Chacko was right in it. Brick Alley was a real place and its still talked about. Read it, you won't be disappointed.
