In recent time, social media has provided a new scope for health education and awareness. This study has examined the social media engagement of women and its impact on their awareness level in terms of knowledge, attitude and practice related to breast cancer. Secondly, it also aims at evaluating demographical factors association with social media engagement and breast cancer knowledge, attitude, and practice. The study has focused whether social media engagement can elevate the awareness level of breast cancer. Mixed methods approach has been applied to conduct the study. Using multi-disciplinary theoretical approach and previous literature findings and gaps, a model was devised, and it was validated by structural equation modeling (SEMAMOS).
