Saga fell asleep one night in the middle of a raid to find herself stuck in a game. However this isn't your usual story of the Player finding themselves the Hero of a new story. Beaten, locked in chains and drained of her health and mana, she becomes one of thousands of players kidnapped and locked up to feed a city that runs on their life forces. The Players are not heroes here, they are a calamity housed and used as batteries.
When Saga breaks free and causes a system feedback loop that frees dozens of other Players, she starts something, a revolution she never planned to lead. Up against a Zealous Jail-keeper, an insane System AI and the very people of the city that has trapped her, Saga has to use everything she can to get free and find safety in a world that regards her as a monster.
Even if it requires breaking the game world she's trapped in to do it.
