To-Die-For Shoujo

After reading volume two, I am officially addicted to Hana Yori Dango (Boys Over Flowers). In this volume, two new characters are introduced. First is Tsukushi's childhood pal Kazuya. Kazuya and his family have just become "nouveau riche." THe sincere but bumbing boy, who is secretly in love with Tsukushi, enrolls at Etoku Academy. Soon, he is a target of the F-4. The second character is extremely beautiful. Shizuka, an international model who has as much brains as beauty, also returns to school. She is a childhood friend of the F-4, who welcome Shizuka with open arms. Tsukushi idolizes her. However, Shizuka is Rui's girlfriend. Tsukushi kisses someone at a party. It is not who you expect! I am rooting for this couple to get together! Author Yoko Kamio has lots of fun and informative sidebars.

cool book.

But this book is about a F4. and Tsukushi. This is unreal, can't be real.Guess what? A NORMAL, POOR (i think) girl is dating w/a boy who is really handsome and in the school's flower boys?(wutever)It just makes ppl 2 think dat u can be a girl likeTsukushi.I read it to Vol.33 in Korean & Japanese. And yeah.. it's fun but it's TRULY UNREAL.Those of u who thinks who can be a LUCKY GIRL like Tsukushi,Well, sorry.

The Weed becomes a flower....: Volume 2

In Boys over Flowers(Hana Yori Dango), Volume two in case you couldn't tell about a certain member if the F4's feelings for Tsukushi, it becomes completely appearent. Volume 2 continues from precisely where Volume 1 ended - The party where Tsukushi got Champagne dumped on her by Asai on her stuck up gal pals. But things have gotten easier for Tsukushi at Eitoku. But then an old, optimistic, yet clueless child buddy of Tsukushi comes back into her life by attending Eitoku. And as soon as he opens his locker, he is "welcomed" by a slip of red paper. Tuskushi and her buddy are chased out of school and Rui's true love/childhood/supermodel has returned to Eitoku. She is the only really nice rich person at school, and we find out just why Rui acts the way he does. In Boys over Flowers Vol. 2, the same quality of storyline is continued. We get to see more of Tsukushi's family and more of Tsukushi's ignorance of Domoyogi's real feelings, and her *hopeful* wishes of being with Rui. Tsukushi still continues to be as strong and as independent as she ever was. Vol. 2 will not disapoint if you enjoyed Volume 1. God Bless & *Enjoy* ~Amy
