I hope that all who may read this book and have grown up in a small community will look back and learn some of the great values of life such as never giving up. If you get knocked down, get up and start over again. Keep the prairie land and pioneer spirit within you. At 85, soon to be 86 years (hopefully and prayerfully more) I have learned in this lifetime that you never give up. If I had, I probably would not be here writing this book.
