Funny! And plenty of action

Funny and plenty of action. Most books tend to slow down in the middle. This book keeps you guessing until the last page! The characters are admirable and memorable. I've read a lot of Westerns, but I've never read one with such a twisted plot where you were actually trying to figure out what was going on. I thought this book was a great improvement on the traditional paperback western. I loved it when Pace loses his horse - again!
