On a lark, Peter opens a used book store, Redcup, with high hopes of creating a paradise of words and art, His wife, Katie, is horrified and berates Peter for his irresponsible actions. Plowing ahead, Peter goes all in, assembling a team of oddball volunteers to run the store. After only two months in business, and bleeding money, Katie gets a new job in Kenucky, forcing Peter to decide the fate of the bookstore, which is taking on a life of its own. Descending into psychosis, Peter reaches the end of his tether after betraying Katie and watching Redcup come undone.
