Learn how many pros are using fitness techniques to improve not only their own health, but their golf game as well. This description may be from another edition of this product.
If this book gets the reader-ship it deserves, my livelihood could be in danger! I am a massage therapist in a desert resort area with over 100 courses and, in my many years of practice, I often come across clients who, at one time or another, suffered an injury from playing golf; indeed, I consider golf a most "body UN-friendly sport" and, along with computers, to be among the many reasons people have massages. This book contains so much useful & concise information relating to prevention & rehabilitation of injuries and, coupled with the extensive, informative & easy-to-use DVD that accompanies the book, anyone with the right mindset can quickly & easily learn how to improve their game & avoid injury. In fact, even non-golfers can benefit from the easy-to-understand exercies which are grouped into highly viewable segments on the DVD & augmented by information contained in the book. In short, get the book, read it & watch the DVD. Better yet, have a personal consultation with Dr. Dill & get a customized program to make your game more "body friendly"; just don't forget to book a massage with your favorite therapist.
Ouch, this might hurt...!

After reviewing your Body Friendly Golf book & the accompanying DVD, I have to say that if this gets widespread reader- & viewer-ship, my massage therapist business could be in trouble! For many years I have been performing massage on golfers ( & others) who flock to our desert resort area, plus residents who live here & play on a regular basis. Along with computers, I would rank the sport of golf as one of the many reasons we massage therapists will never run out of clients. I consider golf to be a "body UN-friendly" activity, due to the number of clients I have encountered who have injured themselves or just tied their body up in knots while playing. If they were to read your book & watch the DVD, they could learn how to customize a set of exercises & warm-up drills that would not only improve their game, but make them more flexible & fit, overall. Even for myself, given the stresses of my work, I could quickly see how valuable the range of exercises are for me...a non-golfer...so I have no hesitation in saying this book is a "must read" for golfers or anyone interested in improving overall body fitness & flexibility. The excellent DVD menu makes it so easy to select a set of exercises to do, with references to book pages & instructions; one could choose a different set each session & find themself in better shape in no time! So disregard the title of my review, it might not hurt at all & you just might find yourself "swinging a new tune" on the course...better yet, treat yourself to a personal consultation & fitness program & surprise your friends at the next tournament. And don't forget to schedule a massage session with your therapist soon!
