In this fast, steamy novel by New York Times bestselling author Nancy Thayer, residents of a seemingly picture perfect New England town struggle to hide their shocking secrets . . . until they can no... This description may be from another edition of this product.
Surely this book reads exactly how the title means. It's a story of a New England small town. The story goes way, way down into the depths of the characters' souls and fully explores every issue by every character's unique point of view. This is a must read for Nancy Thayer fans. I don't care much for Nancy's later books - I loved this one, Three Women at Water's Edge, Spirit Lost, Stepping, Nell, My Best Friend, Belonging, etc. The ones later don't come nearly close to her earlier writings. Nancy, if you're reading this, go back to your earlier style - it was way more satisfying to your favorite fan.
I love Nancy Thayer

I love the way Nancy Thayer develops her characters. I got inside all the characters. This is a story of small town America and how each life affects those around them. This is one of her earlier novels and I am always so surprised that she isn't more well known. I would highly suggest this book even though it is out of print.
