Who will emerge to lead the team...and will they be able to out-muscle and out-ego everyone who stands in their way?
This was a surprise. Despite the fame of the anime, I have no idea what the story is about. This was my first time being exposed to the story.
The plot is crazy intriguing and interesting. We dived right in into the plot without actually knowing what the main character is like. Yes, we know his name and his tenacity of not giving up. But we don't know who he really is. We just get to know him through the training that he's receiving.
This gives off such a unique way of introducing the sport. for real, this is making me very curious.

One of the best sports manga I’ve ever read. The art is incredible, the story starts off really well and the way it progresses is so different from any other book about sports. I didn’t even care about soccer till I read this
5/5 would recommend.
