The Chronicles of T-Bo is a 10 novel series highlighting a young man's journey through life from childhood into adulthood. The story chronicles his life through many of his darkest hours, from living with his Crack Cocaine addicted mother, both of his parents passing away while he is so young, the death and/or incaeceration of so many of his friends, the betrayal of so many he grew up with that he once considered friends, to the moment he decides to leave the neighborhood and most of his old friends behind. The Chronicles of T-Bo is a story of change, how one searches this life for his true identity and purpose in life. In the process of the search he becomes a part of the socially undesirable, but eventually evolves into a respected businessman, husband, father and friend whose new desire is to help others out of the life he once lived, and to demonstrate that they are truly more than where they came from. The series also features other characters who play leading roles that n their own story within the Chronicles, friends of our hero who survives the series when many others do not. The Chronicles of T-Bo is a representation of the life many live and are forced to learn to survive in inner city America where one of the most popular forms of death is by way of gang violence. In the case of Block Boy 2, one of the most popular avenues of death for a Black or Brown youth is by way of death be a crooked police. Sometimes members of the community are forced to fight back. Running and hiding is not always the option. The question becomes, who is willing to sacrifice their lives to defend the streets they call home against those who have sworn to protect when their silent swearing is really to kill and destroy all Black lives, those who don't share the sentiment of Black Lives Matter?
