Excellent! Great Story

This is an excellent, well-written story. The characters are well-developed and very interesting and the plot line is good. If you read "Choices" you'll recognize some of the characters such as Ryan and Lara. It was great to find out what became of them once they got married. If you didn't read "Choices" you'll still be able to perfectly follow this story. It was funny to read the story of a playboy who had finally met his match. I know many single women wished they could meet a man this determined in his pursuit of the woman he loves. The addition of a daughter he didn't know about for 16 years was another challenge for him but the book flowed beautifully as Norris and Dahlia as well as Norris and his daughter developed their relationships. I wish all romance stories were this well-written and rounded. No formulaic writing here. I look forward to Ms. Williams next novel. She does not disappoint.

OH WHAT A WONDERFUL LOVE STORY!!!!!

I really really enjoyed this book, a well written heartfelt romance. I gave it five stars because it had all the ingredients of a good novel and I was totally drawn to the characters in this book. Dahlia & Norris issues felt so real and with Norris dealing with his teenage daughter, I felt for him. I won't say anymore because I don't want to give to much away, but this is a MUST read. If you are looking for hot sex, this is not for you. This story is about family, trust, forgiveness and unconditional love. Ms. Williams did a fantastic job in delivering this story, something that will touch your heart. There were scenes in this book that actually had me in tears. I highly recommend this book, its a keeper and I will read again.

An Engaging Tale

I've read Choices by Ms. Williams and truly enjoyed that book. Blindsided is the sequel to that book. I enjoyed catching up with Lauren and Ryan from that book. This book was so much better than that book! Choices was good but Blindsided was excellent. There were many reasons why I liked this book so much better....for starters, I have gotten so frustrated with authors of interracial romances making the BW in a BW/WM tale out to be insecure with little to no self esteem. It really frustrates me and I wish these authors would incorporate a new story line. This was not the case in Blindsided. Dahlia had some really legit concerns for not wanting to commit to a relationship. It had nothing to do with insecurities which was a breath of fresh air. I also hate the fact that in all these stories between a BW/WM, the BW is the one because of her love for the male and her not wanting to hurt him or because some other character is raising hell, breaks up with him by telling him some far fetched lie because they think it would be for the best! This happpened in Choices, but Ms. Williams deviated from that in Blindsided and I was truly grateful! I truly enjoyed the characters and I loved the fact that Norris's character had grown from the previous book. Blindsided wasn't a far fetched and an unbelievable tale. Ms. Williams opened the story with the two main characters already knowing each other and in somewhat of a relationship which is quite different and unique than what I'm used to reading in Interracial Love Stories. The way they met was quite comical with Dalhia being Laura's hair dresser from Choices. If you want to read an engaging tale with truly developed characters, no editing issues or over the top conflict than this is the story for you. The race issue was dealt with but in a very mature and heartfelt way. Norris was by all means my favorite character ...even with all his vainess and ego! He was truly in love with himself but loved Dahlia so much more. He dealt with all the issues thrown at him like a true gentleman. I loved the potato chip addiction that one character had and Norris's third person talk....it made the story so much more fun. I highly recommend getting this book:)I hope I didn't give away too much! I hate when reviewers do that lol.

Blindsided Indigo Love Spectrum

Great love story could not put it down. I highly recommend this wonderful multicultural love story.

Enjoyable

Business owner Dahlia Sinclair is involved in a no strings attached affair with Norris Converse. Early in the story we discover that Norris no longer wants a meaningless affair with Dahlia, because he has fallen in love with her. A relationship is the last thing Dahlia wants, after her husband destroy her faith in love. Telling Dahlia that he loves her is only one of Norris' problems, when he discovers he is the father of a 16 years old biracial daughter, he knew nothing about. He is instantly thrown into the position of father, when his daughter's recently married mother decides it is time for him to get to know his daughter and decides to move to Africa for six months. I loved following Norris' journey of getting to know his daughter and being a good father, while fighting to convince Dahlia she is the love of his life. Great story!
