A Great Read

As hard as he tries, Skye Fargo can't save a young Pony Express rider being backshot by marauding Paiute Indians. Promising the boy that he will finish the ride for him, Fargo makes his way to the relay station at Black Rock Pass. But granting this dying wish may cost Fargo his own life when he's trapped in the station by a band of vengeful braves. Now, with a motley crew of determined survivors depending on him, the Trailsman is going to make a special delivery of hot lead... If it's action you want, this book delievers. A gripping plot? Then there's that too. Great characters? Yeap. Well written? Definately. Jon Sharpe knows how to pace a story, get his hero into a jam you'd think is impossible to get out of alive, then come up with a believable solution. For fans of this series, or for a reader who just wants a good western to read, then I'd say you won't be disappointed with this book.
