Beyond Death

Philip Solomon and Hans Holzer, Ph.D. wondered whether there was life after death. And if so, what was it like? Solomon is a renowned psychic, and Holzer has investigated paranormal phenomena for years and has written more than one hundred books. Together they set out to "interview" residents of the Other Side. Beyond Death is a compilation of those interviews. Holzer says he is satisfied that their interviews represent "the first real account of the afterlife in specific and non-glamorous, non-religious terms, as if the communicator over there has simply moved to a `foreign country' and was reporting what it was like in every department of life." Indeed, the afterlife does sound much like present life, but with a few key differences. Residents of the Other Side have greater knowledge about their continuous existence and, in fact, chided Solomon and Holzer for using terms like death. The communicators explained that time is measured much differently for them than it is on Earth, which is why some people wait years for contact from loved ones who have crossed over. Basic personalities and abilities remain unchanged. Thus entertainers, like Elvis, continue to entertain, if that's their desire. All of the communicators emphasized that everyone can have, do, or be, whatever they want. All they have to do is wish it, and it happens. So if your greatest desire is material wealth, it's yours. However, many found that, although they can have anything they want, their wants changed as they grew. What it seemed important or desirable while on Earth may not be what's wanted most in the afterlife, especially after they've been there for awhile. Most of the interviews were with communicators residing in the "second level." Some were ordinary people, and others were famous, like Princess Diana, Judy Garland, and Al Capone. One personality spoke from his place in the "first level, " where he seemed quite pleased with his life of debauchery and violence. Many levels exist beyond the first few levels. Beings progress to them only as they're ready to do so. Beyond Death is filled with one fascinating account after another that provides a picture of the Other Side. As one personality says, those of us in this world will one day know "this same blissful acceptance of different people, and when their time comes to pass they should not be afraid. The spirit world is a wonderful place which awaits all, whoever and whatever you are."

I MUST SAY THAT THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST BOOKS I HAVE READ LATELY. IT'S RIGHT UP THERE WITH THE CONVERSATION WITH GOD BOOKS. THIS BOOK GIVES YOU A RARE GIFT OF SEEING WHAT IT IS LIKE AFTER WE CROSS OVER. THIS BOOK IS BASED ON INTERVIEWS WITH PEOPLE WHO HAVE CROSSED OVER AND GIVES YOU A CLEAR PICTURE OF WHAT ITS LIKE IN THE SPIRITUAL REALM. WHAT HAPPENS AFTER WE CROSS OVER AND WHAT WE WILL SEE AND EXPERIENCE. IT IS TRULY AN EXCEPTIONAL BOOK. I PERSONALLY HAVE BOUGHT SIX COPIES AND GIVE THEM OUT TO FRIENDS AS GIFTS. THERE ARE ALSO SOME INTERVIEWS WITH CELEBRITIES THAT HAVE CROSSED OVER LIKE; ELVIS, MONROE, JUDY GARLAND, DIETRICH PRINCESS DI AND EVEN AL CAPONE AND HITLER. Brilliant book

This is a brilliant book. What is the person, under the title Misrepresented, who calls him/herself A Reader From The USA on about and, indeed, which planet is he or she on? This is clearly a person with little knowledge of either parapsychology or, more important in the context of this book, mediumship. I have seen Philip Solomon demonstrate as a medium and he is undoubtedly one of the very best trance mediums in the world. It would make no difference to him if the communication was from Elvis Presley or an everyday ordinary person. He would simply pass on the information he had been given, practically and clearly, which it seems to me he has done in this book. The reviewer also claims to have read most of the other books of Hans Holzer, as he titles him. Surely, therefore, the reviewer must realise PROFESSOR Hans Holzer has not only had a career as an illustrious ghost hunter - as the reader from the USA calls him, but is recognised as a highly respected veteran parapsychologist and I can assure him/her the professor has worked with and tested many of the world's leading mediums over many years. Surely he would be best to judge, which he does, with his firm acknowledgement in the book, whether Philip Solomon's contacts are genuine. However, let me assure you I am a very experienced medium and spiritualist myself and I also assure you that almost anyone with a basic understanding of psychic matters would clearly see that the description of the contacts made, confirmed and supported by Professor Holzer, are genuine and worthwhile studies for the reader. I, for one, would wholeheartedly recommend this book to anyone who has suffered the loss of a loved one or who wishes to read and know more about the afterlife of celebrities and everyday ordinary people just like ourselves. Don't be as silly as reviewer `A Reader From USA' - get a copy of this book, the first real work by a genuine medium and parapsychologist as a team, and the book itself is excellent.

I bought this book whilst on holiday in America. Best book I have ever read on the afterlife and a comfort to anyone who has lost a loved one.

Loved this book!

I first heard Hans Holzer interviewed on Whitley Streiber's radio show "Dreamland" on the subject of life after death. Holzer chose Philip Solomon as the medium to contact the dead as he is one of the most accurate mediums in the world. Holzer states that this book is the first time a methodical question-and-answer approach about life on the Other Side has been attempted, especially by a parapsychologist and a medium. What a great comfort this books was for me after losing a loved one 8 months ago.It was informative, full of interviews with famous people, such as Princess Diana, Elvis, and the not-so-famous giving us a glimpse of what does on in the Other Side, the type of reality that is experienced there, and that life continues on after death.
