Outstanding true story

Friends who owned the boat previously recommende the book. Amazing how people can fight and succeed for survival.

Wonderful book-stirring account!

I read this first in a condensed version in Readers Digest many years ago, tore it out and saved it. Still have it. Years later, I married a man whose life was saved, in a way, by Bob Aros, after Bob survived this ordeal. I appreciate this book in many ways. First and foremost, it's a really good firsthand read. Bob, Mary and Christian were fascinating, very real and fortunate to be alive.

The intense struggle to survive both physically and spiritually was well laid out in this first-person true life tale. The dramatic pace and intense emotions flowed smoothly and kept me entranced throughout the story. I read it in one sitting!
