Candid and honest. Utterly surprising. Endearing characters

A funny, yet all too serious look at middle age. The supporting cast of characters brought me to my knees with laughter sometimes and tears the other. Great sex scenes and an amusing dialouge on "Cellulite". Read it straight through and dog eared my favorite scenes.

From Duluth and I loved it--especially the horse ride!

The horse scenes were authentic and so were most other scenes. I heard Ms. D'Acre read at a book signing here and it got me to buy her book. I plan to reread it when the winter snows set in here, I know it'll warm me up. It's funny and tragicand I was rivited wondering how the author was going to resolve the very complex plot that goes rapid-fire near the end of the book. Couldn't put it down.

NO OTHER BOOK OUT THERE LIKE IT

This book is interesting and holds the attention. It shows the real way things are for a women in her mid-life with a famillies that have real problems. It gave a clear picture off recovery from the AA view point. It gives hope. The wonderful way Miss D'Acre' wrote this fine book will surely be an inspiration to all in recovery and there famillies. Keep up the good work Miss D'Acre', can't wait for your next book. A friend of Bill W.

I'm a Pre-Boomer, however, I had that FEAR of the big 5 Oh!

Ms. D'Acre was able to keep my total attention through all 350 plus pages of her book. I am from New Orleans and can relate to a lot of the scenes. I found Grant Griffin and Brit Rhodes fascinating and real. I look forward to Ms. D'Acre's next novel....

It seems so real and earthy

This book has enlightened my evenings. Being a black person, the mixture of the Black and White Culture in the plot and scenes ring true.
