The gardens of Eden and Gethsemane represent turning points for humanity that are often little understood. In Between Two Gardens, Jane Rubietta invites you to take a soul journey through the Bible's most important gardens and explore their similarities and significance for us today.
The work of Creation in Eden was completed by the work of the redemption in Gethsemane. Yet many Christians are caught between the gardens. We strive for the fullness of Gethsemane's promise but are often mired in the mud and matted with the dust left over from Eden's exile. Though we run in shame and live life separated from God and one another, Jesus invites us into the accomplishments of Gethsemane and into the garden of new life.
In this deeply moving devotional, forty contemplative readings with practical applications calls us to return to the Garden, exploring the soul's longing for fellowship, acceptance, freedom, purpose, and ultimately, fulfillment in God. This description may be from another edition of this product.
