This story is a riveting account of the journey of a young boy, Braxton, who, at the age of six, was diagnosed with a rare autoimmune disorder, CIDP. CIDP is an attack on the nervous system that affected Braxton's ability to walk, run, and play. After months of treatments and hospitalizations Braxton had finally started to regain mobility. He was in school again and starting to feel like his old self. He wanted so badly to play baseball as it was the sport he loved before his diagnosis. With great hesitancy his parents, doctors, and coach decided to allow Braxton to play. Braxton had a great season and his growth was evident after each game.
